Reading the Bible together transformed our church.
Now we want to give away everything you need to see it ignite yours:
The Institute for Bible Reading and Tyndale created the Immerse Reading Bible series. A new kind of Bible. Immerse: The Reading Bible is specially crafted for a distraction-free reading experience, helping you dive in and get immersed in Scripture.
And specifically formatted to be read together, as a family, a small group, and a church.
Joining us and other churches around the world in committing to read the Bible together means going through the New Testament in 8 weeks in community. It’s a lot of reading but it brings a lot of impact.
Included in the resources is the 8 week reading plan for your church and readers but also a guide for getting you to the starting line and follow up and continuing well past “… the end.”
More than just throwing your church into the deep end of wrestling through the profound truths of God’s Word on their own. We’ve partnered with some amazing ministries to equip you and your church to go deeper than ever before.
Resources including sermon manuscripts, step-by-step guide, small group guides, and videos from the Bible Project such as “How to Read the Bible: NT Letters Historical Context”
Sign your church or group up to access resources to help you lead the challenge.
Using the launch guide, pull the resources together that meet your church’s unique needs and context .
To kick off the New Year, let’s launch the challenge together.
How is this different than reading the Bible? It’s reading the Bible together.
The epistles were written to churches, the Psalms were written to be sung together, the Law was written to define a nation. But our people are told to read the Bible on their own.
Personal time in the Word of God is valuable and necessary, but reading the Bible the way it was written, the way the Church has read it for thousands of years is lost in an individualistic and isolated society. Let’s recapture that together.
Let us know if you’d like to read the Bible with us.
