Immerse: The Bible Reading Experience is an invitation to a different kind of community interaction with the Bible. Less like a Bible study, more like a book club.
Each volume is available in 8 or 16 week formats to fit most small group schedules or also as a daily podcast for those looking to go through the Bible in a year. It features the full text of the New Living Translation.
Do you need to use an Immerse Messiah Bible to be a part of One Million More? No, but we’ve found that single column, paragraphed (instead of verse by verse) format help to make Bible reading more like the original experience rather than scrolling through a reference book.
Every church is a unique expression of the global Church, and has a unique make up. So we’ve gathered a range of tools and resources to help your church and your people engage with God’s Word.
You do not need to use the Immerse Bible series. While it has been a very impactful and powerful tool for our church, we realize that it might not work in every context. If your church prefers to use a different translation or different Bible, here are some of our top recommendations:
Don’t be discouraged! Rather than rushing through the reading to catch up, it’s best to jump forward to the starting point for each week’s reading. That will give you a chance to read with the rest of the group that week. Then if you knock out that week’s reading with time to spare, you can always go back and play catch up.
Yes. Immerse contains the full text of the New Living Translation with brief introductions to each book. Nothing has been added or removed from the Bible text.
Yes, Immerse is available in Spanish (Biblia Inmersión) and you can follow along the standard Bible reading plan in any other language you prefer.
